i had a breakthrough last night. i actually remembered the majority of the cast member's names. considering there are 57 adult actors (and a bunch of teens and kids), this is quite an achievement. especially since most of those people don't have character names are simply part of the ensemble. don't scoff.

it's also a lot easier to look at the stage and tell if people are in their correct spot if you know what those people are called.

i have the day off today. i'm incredibly grateful for this since the combination of current programs, upcoming programs, summer plans, and hundreds of kids pulling on my clothes saying "miss!" "miss!!" can get a little overwhelming.

not that i don't love my job! i really do! honest! the children are wonderful and most of them are a joy to be around and with. we get along pretty well. several of them have asked if they could be my daughter. i dread the day when i realize that some of them could be.
