i have seen something that i never thought i would see: someone was putting up movie and ad posters near the library. so now i know that someone actually does it and that he's a middle-aged guy with a baseball cap.

before this second story, let me make something clear: i did not see any celebrities. i didn't catch a glimpse of will smith or anything. BUT, walking out of rehearsal last night, i walked by something that was definitely a movie or tv set. since i'm not totally jaded, i had to stop and check it out and see if there was someone famous there. there wasn't. at least not anyone i recognized.

what i have been dreading has finally happened. last night i was so caught up in my book that i missed my stop. i got off two stops later (and only because the conductor announced the stop in time for me to look up and jump off the train) and decided that i had had enough of public transportation and that taking the train back south two stops and then the bus crosstown was just too much. i took a cab.

Was the movie set in Queens? I keep seeing pictures of Uma Thurman filming The Accidental Husband in Queens, NY. Not that seeing her would even come close to the delight of seeing, let's say...Johnny Depp!
