alright! it's your moment! those of you who said you would make it out here if mike and i were ever onstage had better start packing your bags. one of our actors had to drop out of the show and mike is filling in for all the dancing bits. he's also one of the set movers and will be on that stage more often than some of the actors. we look forward to hosting you: the show opens on december first.

this weekend i had a princess party at my library. not only did i have heart and star shaped cookies, i also made jam sandwiches and used cookie cutters to cut them into cute shapes. we told princess stories, made tiaras and bracelets out of beads and pipe cleaners, and played pin the kiss on the frog.

oh - did i mention that we dressed up?

the other day on the subway, there were two mormon men clearly on their two year missionary trip. they were talking to a hispanic mother and her son. they asked the boy's name. does it count as irony if it was jesus? probably not. ah well. i still found it funny.

Great! Mike as an actor! Now, as a stage managar you'll be able to boss him around!

A princess party! What a 'girlie' thing to do. I bet those Hispanic little girls (and their mothers) loved it! If only your Hispanic mother had done something like that for you when you were young!

Jesus? That is funny indeed!
