still, let's focus on the positive for a minute. our vacation was awesome.
first of all, the weddings. both of them were wonderful and the couples were so happy and i just remembered how much i like weddings.
kathleen and noah's wedding came first.

and, i have to say it, the star of the wedding was kathleen's 12 foot veil. gorgeous. almost as gorgeous as the bride herself.
the next saturday, kayle and angie. believe it or not, we went bowling in between the wedding and the reception and despite the wrinkled brows when we first heard the plan, we all had a blast. and then kayle and angie joined us near the end.
during the rest of the week, we hung out with our family on all sides. we were especially excited about our newphews and niece because we rarely see them.
now it's back to the new york grind where i have to push my way on to the subway to make it to work in time and mike deals with people taking his frozen meals from the office refrigerator.
at least our cats were happy to see us.
