currently reading: anansi boys by neil gaiman, the clue of the linoleum lederhosen by m.t. anderson and the boggart by susan cooper.

the movers are coming by tomorrow to inspect the apartment. should i clean the stove? :-)

playing piano on sunday. can i play a prelude that i played last september? i don't think people would remember except it's chopin and fairly memorable (people love it every time i play it... yay for chopin).

i'm trying to encourage myself to leave the packing until july when i stop working full time and can really do it rather than just making a big mess in the living room. unfortunately, i'm probably not going to be able to resist.

things to think about: need to subscribe to the new yorker. they have several pages with all the things great and small happening in manhattan. mike objects to the "frou frou" (his word) (how does one spell that?) articles, but it'll probably make us look really intellectual when we have it on our coffee table! :-)

Howdy. Through the magic of following links from blog to blog, I came across your site. You might remember me as the editor-in-chief who roped you into that bad co-editing combination for the features section a few years ago.

Hope all is well.
