car has been approved. our cats would be ecstatic if they weren't so oblivious. although that happy state was rather hard to maintain since the moving company just innundated our living room with boxes (they seem to think we need over 60 boxes). i think the cats finally think something is up (in case the fact that nothing is on shelves or in drawers anymore hasn't tipped them off).
i've semi-given up on new york libraries (grr - are they EVER going to call me??) and have applied to queens in hopes of something coming through somewhere.
saw shakespeare's (or perhaps shakespeare's) pericles last night. interesting play - you can see strains of things from his other plays (the theme of lust, shipwrecks, mistaken identities, long lost family members finding each other). i found myself watching and thinking of heather, our fabulous ctc costumer, who once said the least imaginative costumes ever were the ones where the people who ended up together were dressed in the same color. these people did that a lot (albeit in fabulous costumes, so i guess i can forgive them).
three more weeks in champaign. is this what ferris meant when he said "life moves pretty fast"? or was he just talking about driving a fast car...
