today we went to see "beauty and the beast" on broadway. it was a pretty good show and donny osmond shone as gaston. mike had no idea who donny osmond was, but he thought i should tell you all about it in case you did. :-)

then mike and i walked (yes, mike is walking!)(with a crutch, but still) to a nearby brazilian restaurant and had, among other things, manjar. did you know that you have to pronounce the "j" in portuguese? we confused our poor waiter by pronouncing it with a spanish accent.

this week at the lab: we attemt a different approach to building a certain strain of something or other (for more details, ask mike)

this week at the library: we make finger puppets!

i think it's obvious who has the better job.
