i realize that i have not updated in over a week (my personal time limit for updating) but i have an excuse, i swear.

for one thing, mike has been sick. i stayed home on thursday to take care of him and even though i had to work on friday, he was still sick enough to stay home. so we've been spending a lot of time trying to help him feel better. this involves ginger ale and crackers, of course, but also hooking up the computer and other conveniences by the bed. the result was a really messy bedroom.

for another thing, i have a three day weekend (yay!) so i have brought home several binders full of work to try to complete by monday. these binders are currently forming a ring around the couch area. i look like jupiter when i work - big planet in the middle surrounded by an asteroid field of papers, felt, binders, scissors, and (usually) a cat or two. this makes for a messy living room.

which brings me to point three. mike and i switched our apartment around so that our living room is now in the bedroom and the bedroom is out in the living room. perhaps i have already mentioned this. well, i promised to post pictures and i wanted to put them on my next post, but as of yet because of the acoutrements of illness and weekend work, i have been unable to take a decent picture.
