all in all, it was a lovely day. gorgeous weather and i didn't eat even one funnel cake.
last weekend, i noticed that a dear friend had posted an invitation to a party she was throwing. i called mike to see if he wanted to go and that night we were on our way to a party. in philadelphia. that's right, folks, mike and i took a spur of the moment trip to philadelphia. we had a great time. and philadelphia is on our list of cities that we might consider living in (although cities closer to home are still higher up on the list).

I think Philly is a good option...maybe not philly proper, but spring house and the like are nice places to live that are considerably cheaper than Beantown, the SD or jerz.
