currently reading: the series of unfortunate events. i'm on book three. these come highly recommended, by the way.

my packing is at an impasse. if i pack it, i'll need it. like my friend evan told me: "as soon as we schedule something here in champaign, someone will find a job. you must make murphy work for you." unfortunately, i'm not sure how to make murphy work for me when it comes to packing. clearly, i should just pack mike's stuff instead. :-)

i talked to my new york library connection today. she said to be patient and to harass people once i am in new york. she also said it could take a while. sigh. tired of waiting.

i cried when we left grand rapids. i'm either overly sentimental or it has finally hit me that i'm really moving away this time.
