unbelieveable things about new york:

our doorbell has a video camera attached to it so when people ring our bell, we can see who they are before we ring them in.

it truly is cheaper to buy groceries online rather than at the grocery store a block and a half away from us. although the store will come in handy when we run out of milk or something.

unfortunate things about new york:

the subway is a 15 minute walk away. after a point, it seems almost easier just to walk to our destination ourselves.

mike works on the 21st floor. this is not unfortunate in and of itself, but the elevator ride is killer. i've never liked elevators, but by the 16th floor, i was seriously considering throwing up. clearly, i will not be visiting mike at work very often.

things not about new york:

my baby brother turned 19 yesterday. i'm using the "baby" part loosely.

Where do you buy groceries online? That seems random. I want a video camera on our doorbell. No fair.
P.S. I bought Rent a couple days ago. It's a good thing you're not moving into the New York of the late 80's early 90's.
