tonight, mike and i went to an off-off-broadway play. it was a musical/comedy/mystery and it was quite good. one of the things that i love about this city is that the pool of theater talent is so huge and so high quality that even the off-off-broadway stuff is amazing. which is good, because mike and i don't have $110 each to go see wicked. (and if we did, i'm not sure that's how we would spend it...)
my brother turned 20 this week. in his honor (and because i wanted to post a picture), here's the most recent picture i have of him.
(um, and that's me next to him)
and now, with absolutely no transitional phrase whatsoever, i'm going to talk about my cats (like i even needed an excuse). i pulled out my step for aerobics today and charlotte prompty lay down on it in that infuriatingly cute manner of a cat who knows she's won. and that's without going into the look on kitten's face when i was actually doing step. i couldn't decide if he was curious or just terrified. at least he didn't attack me.
mike saw an ad for kittens that needed a loving home. obscenely, we were tempted. on the other hand, we might be holding out for a dog of the tiny-but-cute variety (spencer, anyone?)
and on a totally different note (again), mike's boss and mike's boss's wife had their baby. they named her laura. *smiles*

Hey cousin, since I don't have your email address with me, I though I could reach you this way.
I'm in LA (definitly not my favorite city!) and I'm stuck here for three weeks!! I'm missing my girls like crazy, even though I talk to them every night (webcam and all).
I don't know why I'm telling you this, maybe because I'm felling low and you always had a way to cheer me up (not!!).
Anyway, just wanted to say hi. Te mando un abrazo primita, y uno para Mike tambiƩn!
