they've put new cement out by our corner. surprisingly, no one has written in it yet. and the part of me that likes things organized (a very small part, considering the current state of my apartment), enjoyed seeing the fresh lines drawn out in the concrete.

not so crazy about the jackhammers, though.

and now for something completely different...

today we made sculptures out of paper at the library. they all stood on their own and were quite lovely. the kids all titled their work. we had the picture, zoo, what happens underwater, and one untitled.

they were pretty cool. i'm sorry i didn't take pictures.
