these are the things that i lost with my wallet:

- my driver's license (from illinois with my illinois address on it)
- my credit card (which didn't work anyway because we had already activated our new ones)
- my debit card (which i cancelled immediately)
- $40
- the christmas check my father gave me (to go see shows on broadway!!)

it turns out that this check was the most important part. you see, someone found my wallet in florida. and, failing to find any of me in illinois, they called my father's number (from his name and location on the check, i presume). he's mailing it to us.

i'm getting my wallet back! faith in humanity restored!! :-)
