this morning i visited nine kindergarten classes. the only reason i can still speak is because i saw them in twos. we sang, danced, told stories, and had fun. i love doing stuff like this - and kindergarten is a great age. they are still too young to find anything corny, but they are old enough to know words and sing along with me. they were so into what we were doing that they started following every single one of my actions - even clearing my throat and pushing my sweater sleeves up. it's amazing to put my arms up in the air and have fifty kindergarteners follow me without question.
i also got my six-month evaluation this afternoon. i passed. in case anyone was worried.
over at the lab, mike is a little stressed over his proposal paper. he has to present some new chemistry that has nothing to do with palau'amine - first the paper and then a presentation sometime in the next few months. he's been feeling a little sick, so it's hard to find the motivation to write the paper rather than do chemistry. at least now he appreciates reactions more. or something.
mitch has started freaking out over his food again. i'm bringing him to the vet on monday morning to see if we can nip this problem in the bud. he's still running around, hitting kitten when kitten deserves it, and sitting on our laps, so that's a good sign, but we don't want him to get any worse. hopefully it's something that can be fixed with some ease.
