we've started loading in our fall show. this means putting the lights, the sets, the costumes, etc., into the theater where we will be performing starting next saturday. (you should come see us!)
i't s a mostly low-stress show, but it still means we'll be working there every evening for the next seven days or so.
not only that, but i'm planning a halloween party for my kids. haunted house ideas anyone?
while we were out, the cats sabotaged a large container of kitty treats. the container is now empty and the cats... the cats just seem pretty happy.

One of the things we did at the haunted house we created at my parents' when I was in 7th grade was set up several boxes with bowls of stuff in them and then labelled them scary things like eyeballs or brains, etc. But inside it was something that only felt like eyeballs or brains but was actually gummy bears or something. I don't remember exactly what the things were but you could probably come up with some ideas or google it.
