last year, we went to mike's building to watch the fireworks. we were blocked by the smoke. since we are clearly incapable of learning from our mistakes, we decided to go back this year. fortunately, the fireworks were beautiful and we had a great view.


and it gave me an excuse to make red white and blue star cookies. and bars with the american flag on them.

you can all tell me they are cute. i know. :-)
